Fresh change

Much has already been said about the sustainability of resources. Sustainability also means optimizing production processes and using energy from renewable sources. We are aware that nature is a priceless heritage. That's why we set priorities. We have been taking care of nature conservation and planting new trees for a few years. In cooperation with the municipality of Štrba, we have already planted more than 10,000 trees.

Briquette heater

Part of the process optimization is also heating with briquettes. Since we are a wood-producing company, we generate waste in the form of sawdust, so we heat the whole year round, so to speak, on our own. We don't have to buy a single briquette.

Minimalist collection

Our windows from the KunajVision collection are also a good example of more efficient production. The production of these windows uses 30% less wood and produces 70% less wood waste. At the same time, however, these windows are designed to meet all demanding customer requirements. Interestingly, if the window is properly installed, the thermal insulation properties are better than windows with a D92 or DH92 profile, which are already suitable for passive houses. This is because the entire frame is insulated on the outside and only the glass panel is visible.

All the paints and stains we use are environmentally friendly. These few steps are just the beginning of our journey to the sustainable use of resources.
